The core task of our Executive Board is to align the FVA research agenda with a strategic vision.  In addition to financial feasibility, professional expertise is a decisive criterion. Expertise comes from the members' experience in management positions in research and development in their companies.

Other tasks include representing the interests of the FVA in public and political circles, deciding on the admission of new members and drawing up the budget and annual financial statements.

Our democratic principles also apply here: The members of the FVA Executive Board are elected by the General Assembly and represent the spectrum of drive technology; the budget and financial statements must be discussed and approved by the delegates of the member companies.
